I have been asked recently “What do I wear when it’s cold outside? Everything is made for warm weather!” I agree that most pinup-rockabilly clothes are tailor made for warm weather. However, just a few little additions and you are set for the cold weather! I own a lot of cardigans for winter weather – I wear them with jeans and ballet flats or chucks. Pinup Girl Clothing has dresses specially for the winter. And don’t forget about cigarette pants, sweater dresses and pencil skirts too! To really keep that pinup look, add a flower to your hair or pin one on your shirt, or wear a bandanna on your head – Rosie the Riveter style. And OF COURSE, don’t forget your Devil In Disguise Pinup jewelry! (coming to the website in February!)
Here are some of my favorite looks:
This may be a skirt, or it may be a dress with spaghetti straps – either way – just add a cardigan and belt and you are good to go!
Jeans and a cardigan
Pencil skirt and cardigan
Pencil skirt and a long sleeve blouse. If its really cold, add some tights.
