Today I am going to share some of my personal favorite pinup makeup essentials.  I have worn makeup for a long time – and I never go out without something on my face.  You never know who you are going to see!  😉  I am not a makeup snob – I use whatever product works for me – whether its from the drugstore or the makeup counter.

Revlon Lip Stain

I love this for keeping some color on my lips – particularly if I am wearing a red lipstick. It helps keep color through the day and helps me use less lipstick – which means I won’t get it on my teeth.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss

I have multiple colors of this and use it for all different looks. I have a red one for pinup styles and a natural pink when I want to just be more natural or not even wear lipstick and just the gloss. It works for me.

Mary Kay Really Red Creme Lipstick

I used to be a Mary Kay lady, and ever since I have only used Mary Kay lipstick. The quality is just so good, and they have a great range of colors.  Mary Kay has many shades of reds alone, but for me and my olive skin tone, this is the one I like the best.

Mary Kay® Creme Lipstick

Mary Kay Beach Bronze Lip Gloss

I use this product over many of my lipsticks as well as the Revlon glosses above. I love this one because its gives a little bit of a golden color and a bit of sparkle to my lips without being over the top.

Mary Kay® NouriShine Plus® Lip Gloss

Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner

This is a liquid eye liner that is perfect for creating winged eyes.  It is fairly forgivable too so if I screw up I can wipe it off before its been on very long.

NYX Super Skinny Marker

Another great option for winged eyes – this one I don’t have to apply more product to like the Rimmel- it just flows.  I tend to use this under the Rimmel liner. It helps me get the rough winged line drawn and then I apply the Rimmel over it.

Maybelline Expert Wear Vanilla Eye Shadow

I have tried LOTS of highlighting eye shadows – both from the drugstore and the makeup counter and this is by far my favorite!  It is thick and bright and the color stays all day.  The vanilla is very white – so it can be a bit dramatic, but they make lots of color choices, so you can find one that’s right for you.
